Years ago, while she was managing a local community event for her women’s group, Kim Harrison had a moment of realization. At the time, she was the president of the women’s ministry at her church, and loved being a part of planning their functions. The consideration and planning of every detail excited her, and gave her a sense of fulfillment. During one event, Kim was bringing the keynote speaker a cup of coffee. As she walked up a set of stairs to the green room waiting area, she thought to herself, “I love this. I was meant to do this.”
Kim officially began organizing events in the mid 90s. Her experience began with helping organize corporate sales events for a large national company. Over the years, Kim’s experience broadened to both internal and external events for her employer. Eventually Kim’s passion and skills landed her a role coordinating events for a large international ministry. In her role as events coordinator, Kim managed both locally hosted events and national engagements. During this time, Kim also helped organize and lead three-day, three-city events—hosting functions in a different city each evening for three consecutive days.
Kim has a passion for large-scale events. She thrives on making all the “moving parts” behind the scenes of an event work together seamlessly. Whether it’s a single day, weekend-long or week-long event, she considers each detail from a comprehensive perspective, beginning with the heart behind the event and the desired outcome. This is what sets Kim’s events apart. Her passion for service and ability to listen allow her to bring her clients’ ideas to life. The system she uses to plan and execute her event services, make your event roll out smoothly and professionally.
